Payment terms, billing policies, and refund procedures for Sentinel-ASO.

Overview

This policy explains how billing works for Sentinel-ASO, including subscriptions, credits, add-ons, cancellations, and refunds. Sentinel-ASO is operated by Sentinel Software LLC.

If anything here conflicts with what you see at checkout or in your account billing settings, the checkout and billing details shown for that transaction control.

Billing Policies

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.

Prices, currency, and billing intervals (monthly or yearly) are shown at checkout. By completing a purchase, you authorize us and Stripe to charge your selected payment method for the total amount shown, including any applicable taxes or fees.

You are responsible for any bank fees, currency conversion fees, or similar charges your payment provider may apply.

To protect users and the platform, we may request additional verification for certain transactions or accounts (for example, to confirm account ownership or investigate suspected fraud).

Subscriptions

Sentinel-ASO offers subscription plans, including monthly and yearly options. Subscriptions typically renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Plan features and limits depend on the plan you select and are shown in the product experience. Subscriptions use a credit-based model (see the Credits section).

If we offer a free plan, it may still require an account for usage tracking and abuse prevention. Free plans have no subscription charge and therefore no refund.

Credits and Add-ons

All Sentinel-ASO subscriptions use a credit-based model. Credits are used to access certain product features and are tracked at the account level.

How credits work

  • Your subscription may add credits to your balance each billing period.
  • You may also purchase additional credits as add-ons.
  • Credits accumulate. If you do not use them, they stay in your balance and carry over to future billing periods.

Add-ons

Add-on purchases (such as additional credits) are separate from your subscription and do not change your subscription renewal date unless explicitly stated at checkout.

Important notes

  • Credits are for your account only. They are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash.
  • Some features may require an active subscription plan even if you have a remaining credit balance.
  • We may correct credit balances if we detect errors, abuse, or attempts to circumvent usage limits (for example, exploitation of the credit system, automation intended to bypass limits, or unauthorized access).
  • If an account is closed, suspended for abuse, or involved in a confirmed fraud or chargeback scenario, credits may be forfeited to prevent misuse.

Cancellations

You can cancel your subscription to stop future renewals. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period unless otherwise stated in the billing flow.

After canceling, you typically keep access until the end of the current paid period. At the end of the period, your account may move to a free plan (if available) or lose access to subscription-only features.

Canceling a subscription generally does not automatically delete your account. If you want to delete your account, you must request account deletion separately.

Refunds

General rule

Fees are generally charged in advance. Except where required by law, we do not provide refunds or credits for partial subscription periods, unused usage, or unused time after cancellation.

One-time purchases

One-time purchases (including add-on credits) are generally non-refundable once processed, unless required by law or unless the purchase was made in error due to a confirmed billing issue.

Billing issues and mistakes

If you believe a charge was incorrect (for example, duplicate charges or an unexpected renewal), contact us as soon as possible with your account email and any invoice or transaction details. Where appropriate, we may issue a correction, refund, or credit at our discretion, unless prohibited by law or payment processor rules.

Requests should be made within 30 days of the charge when possible. If a longer period is required by law, we will follow the applicable legal requirements.

Chargebacks and Disputes

If you have a billing issue, please contact us before filing a chargeback. Chargebacks can take time to resolve and often require us to provide transaction records to the payment processor.

We may suspend access to the Service while a chargeback or payment dispute is under review, especially if we believe the account is at risk of fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access.

If a chargeback is confirmed against us, we may terminate or restrict the account, and any remaining credits may be forfeited to prevent further misuse, subject to applicable law.

Changes to Pricing and Plans

We may update pricing, plan names, plan features, and usage limits as the Service evolves. When changes affect an active subscription, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice through the Service or by email.

Pricing changes typically apply at renewal unless otherwise stated at the time of change.
